Integrated Childcare
Programme (ICCP)
The Integrated Childcare Programme (ICCP) is an inclusive programme which allows children with special needs to learn alongside their regular peers. The ICCP aims to provide a natural environment for the child to learn, play, socialise and grow up in. It helps to prepare the child for entry into primary school later.
The programme is available in the following 5 childcare centres.
• Hougang
• Jurong West
• Tampines
• Woodlands
• Yishun
These centres have teachers who are specially trained to address the learning and social needs of the child. The physical classroom environment is also designed to cater to children with special needs and specially designed teaching materials may be used.
What does ICCP offer?
Our Curriculum aims to provide a variety of experiences that foster every child’s social, emotional, physical, aesthetics and intellectual development.
Children in ICCP will be placed in classes according to their age and ability. They will participate in all or most of the class activities where trained teachers will provide guidance ad help during the programmes.
Who is Suitable for ICCP?
Children aged 2 to 6 years with:

Hearing Impairment (with prescribed hearing aids only)

Visual Impairment (with prescribed corrective lenses only)

How to enroll

Parents can approach the SG Enable for more information on the enrolment procedure.

Parents, whose children are known to hospitals, can request the hospital’s Medical Social Worker to make a referral to SGEnable with the relevant documents:-

If there is no vacancy in the centre, parents may place their children on a waiting list. Children in the ICCP programme will start on the flexi-care arrangement and this will be reviewed after 6 months.
Parents are to complete and submit the application for enrolment to the administrative assistant or centre principal. When confirmation of a place is given to your child, you will then need to pay the other necessary fees one week before the beginning of the next month.
All newly enrolled children will go through a three-month trial period. In the event that you decide to withdraw your child within this period, the full deposit and pro-rated school fees will be refunded. All other fees are not refundable.
